Awakenings
Art direction for ADE 2026.
A stage design that read like a Van Doesburg painting.
The agency handed over art direction for the Awakenings ADE event. The brief was open, the trust was already there, and the starting point was the existing stage design.
Walking through it, the connection clicked. Theo van Doesburg and Ivo Pannaggi. The constructivist vocabulary already lived inside the stage. The job became translating that link into the festival's visual language.

Constructivism, reworked around the landmark.
The Awakenings landmark is the non negotiable. It is the most recognizable asset of the identity, and every move has to bend back to it.
Working close with the client, the constructivist geometry was reshaped around the landmark until the two read as one system. Statics and motion built off the same world, no piece floating on its own.

Traditional research, with an AI machine on a leash.
The workflow mixed classical visual research with Weavy AI for fast iteration on both static and motion. The point was not to let the tool decide. The point was to feed it enough context to stay inside the world that had already been set.
Most of the work sat in the prompting. Building the brief the machine reads, layering reference, controlling output, repeating. The result is a set of assets that all read like one thing, made fast enough to actually iterate.
