Minijack

Art direction and music for an Amsterdam-based independent label. 2019–2023.

The design for the label's first CD, a compilation of experimental music bridging Milan and Amsterdam — was born from the synthesis of two elements: the ornamental frame of Teatro alla Scala programs and the coat of arms of Amsterdam, its three Saint Andrew's crosses. High culture references repurposed for underground electronic music. Seventeen artists, monochromatic red print on transparent case. The iridescent disc becomes part of the visual language.

U.A.G.L.I.O is the musical project of Lefka and Deepvision. For the mini CD, a small-format object, the packaging features a double screenprint on transparent case. Hand-drawn calligraphic lettering in red, raw and gestural, a deliberate contrast to Together's classicism. Same material language, different energy.
